It was the sole public school in the neighbourhood. Disappointed, the pupils were compelled to travel to another area or attend other schools. After the school building was damaged, the authorities looked for new land on which to construct the school.
When Yadav's mother, Chadika Devi, learnt about this she told her son to donate the property to the government. After the proper paperwork was completed, the land was gifted.
"The children of this village are having a difficult time with their studies." So, we decided to donate the land for the school and name it after my mother," Yadav said News18.?

According to Sanjay Kumar, DEO, Bhagalpur, the school would be named after the benefactor. He disclosed that Yadav had requested that the school be named after her mother. He also congratulated the farmer and his mother on their great act.?
