Australia-based price comparison website Compare the Market decided to figure out the answer to this question and published their report on the world's most desirable countries to relocate to. And for over 50 countries worldwide, Canada is the number one most popular relocation destination.
After the pandemic and the rise of Work From Home culture in the last couple of years, the number of people who are considering packing up their lives and moving to a new country is also on the rise.
A residence permit or citizenship in a country with a high standard of living opens the door to greater comfort. Considerably, the concept of comfort is different for everyone. For some, career prospects are important and for others, loyalty to foreigners or a prestigious education for children are top priorities.
As per the report of Compare the Market, here we have listed the top 10 best countries to relocate to:
Canada topped the list as the most desired country to relocate to among 50 other nations, including a number from Africa, Asia, the Caribbean and South America. Canada also regularly ranks highly for things such as government transparency, civil liberties, quality of life, economic freedom, and education.
Japan placed on the second spot on this list, with 31 countries having it as their number one relocation destination, including Australia. Japan has one of the highest life expectancies in the world, which could explain why so many people are researching moving there.
Spain is a third very popular choice to relocate to, with 19 countries having it as their favourite in total. Spain is a country that has excellent healthcare and quality of life.
China is the fourth popular choice to relocate to, with 15 countries having it as their favourite in total.
This beautiful country on the west side of Europe is renowned for its beauty, home to some of the world¡¯s most iconic structures and buildings, and of course famous for its incredible food, wine, and fashion. The country has featured fifth in this list,? with 11 countries having it as their favourite in total.
At the point where Europe and Asia collide, it is Turkey¡¯s transcontinental culture clash, its east-west spice-mix of influences, flavours, cultures, religions and histories, that makes this country so intoxicating.
This is a land of sensorial richness, in its bazaars and mosques, its food and arts; of exoticism and romance, from its Ottoman palaces to fairy-tale Cappadocia. Turkey is listed sixth in this list with South Africa.

The study has placed India at the 8th spot of the most desired countries to relocate to. India was preferred as a relocation destination by residents of seven countries. These include Bangladesh, Bhutan, Finland, Ivory Coast, Libya, Niger, and the United Arab Emirates.
At ninth place is Australia on the list, with 6 countries having it as their number one relocation destination.?
Australia is world-famous for its natural wonders and wide-open spaces, its beaches, deserts, "the bush", and "the Outback".? Australia is a country that has excellent healthcare and quality of life.
The study has placed Greece at the tenth spot with Fiji as the most desired country to relocate to. Greece was preferred as a relocation destination by residents of four countries. These include Armenia, Cyprus, North Macedonia and Serbia.
Fiji was preferred as a relocation destination by residents of four countries that included Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Nauru and Tuvalu.
