Days after the Delhi Police cautioned the public about fraudulent ticket sales for Diljit Dosanjh's 'Dil-Luminati Tour' in India, a woman fell victim to the scam and lost Rs 15,000. Her companion was also defrauded of Rs 6,000. The victim, Mahima Jalan, revealed that, while the 32-year-old scammer offered his Aadhaar card to establish trust, she conceded it was "foolish" to believe him. Jalan has since made a complaint to the cyber cell.
¡°This account Dharmendra Singh (Crigyan07) has scammed me and a few more on X by selling fake tickets for Diljit Dosanjh¡¯s show. He took 15k from me, 6k from my friend and god knows how much money from others,¡± Jalan wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter).
She went on to say that she tried to reach him using a different phone number but was unsuccessful. Singh has also blacklisted her on the microblogging site after duping her into a Rs 15,000 ticket fraud.
Jalan has now turned to X for help, pushing her fans to harass Singh with messages and phone calls, hoping that the pressure will persuade him to refund the money.?¡°Kya pata darr ke ya sharam khaa kr paise vapas kar de [Who knows, maybe out of fear or shame, he¡¯ll refund it]!¡±??
