Nowadays you probably can't imagine getting anywhere without Google Maps. Gone are the days when people remembered long routes without the help of a map, or asking people for directions on the way. Now, it is all about Google Maps and everyone blindly trusts it too. But it is not always accurate like the issue of missing flyovers is always a point of debate as Google Maps fails to indicate whether to take the flyover/underpass.?
Sometimes Google Maps leads people to dead ends, and sometimes it shows a route that doesn't exist in person. However, it is completely bizarre for Google Maps to ask you to walk on water, to literally cross a river.?
Sounds like it wouldn't happen but this Kochi man has proof. Here's what happened.?

A man who goes by the username?u/vigneswara on Reddit shared screenshots of Google Maps which it asked him to walk on water for 12 minutes. The man was looking for a route from Fort Kochi Bus Stop to Vypin-Fort Kochi Jankar Ferry, which included a 12-minute walk after the bus stand apparently according to Google Maps through the water.?
While sharing the screenshots the man wrote, "Pretty sure I'm not Jesus, Google" and added, "Context : While looking up route map from fort kochi vypin, Google wants me to 'walk'."?
People on the internet couldn't believe that Google Maps actually showed the path through water. Some people said Google thinks you are the "chosen one," others asked who is drunk! Here's what some people wrote.?
