As luck would have it, their offices transitioned to remote work in 2018, prompting the unexpected purchase of a vintage van, which set the stage for their voyage.?
Their marriage in 2020 signified the completion of their shared desire, establishing the ideal conditions for this once-in-a-lifetime experience. Their Pan-American odyssey began in Canada during a lockdown, prompting them to flee the residence.?
Choosing the outdoors during the first few months meant avoiding big towns and limiting contact with strangers.?
The Pan-American Highway, the world's longest road, spanning 30,000 kilometers through 15 countries from North to South America, was chosen by the couple. It was an opportunity for Smriti to experience human connections, various landscapes, and rich civilizations.
The Pan-American voyage concluded in December 2023 in the resort town of Ushuaia, Argentina. The duo, however, is not resting on their laurels. A break is in order since they want to build a larger RV for future trips to Asia and Europe.?
