A 23-year-old student in Kolkata was travelling on a buswhen she found a man clicking pictures of her against her consent.?According to a report by TOI, the incident happened onJanuary 1 around 3 PM.
The woman claims that the 42-year-old stalker was taking herphotographs on his mobile. When she confronted him, he said that he wasclicking a few selfies and that she is making a fuss out of nothing.
When she saw the man continue to do the same, she got up andasked him for his phone so she could delete the pictures.

Caught in the act, the man pushed her and tried to escape. The woman shouted and blocked his waywhile dialling the police emergency number.
¡°Despite being browbeaten, the woman did not think twicebefore challenging the man even as she sought police help,¡± said a seniordivisional officer.

The bus halted at a crossing and a nearby police van tooknotice of the commotion that was happening inside the vehicle. The copsintervened, nabbed the stalker and seized his phone. The device has now beensent for forensic examination.

The Metro commuter took to Twitter to share her horrendousexperience. She wrote, "This man(right, grey jacket+backpack) flashed hisp***s at me inside #Delhi Metro around 6 PM while I was returning from worktoday. Feel shaken, numb and angry. Didn't even remember I had taken this pictill I spoke to a friend hours later," and tagged DMRC and Delhi Police inthe thread.
After the post went viral, the man was arrested. The accusedhad recharged his Contact less Smart Cards (CSC) online with his mobile phonenumber which was later traced helping the police track him down.
The Delhi Metro Rail Police (DMRP) had taken the accusedinto custody from Gurugram, Haryana.
