A Reddit user posted a story about allegedly getting scammed on Delhi Metro. The man recalled the incident while sitting in the Metro travelling on yellow line¡ªa teenager who he says looked around the age of 15. Came and sat next to him and asked him to UPI ?290 with a promise that he would return it back as soon as?he?got?home.
Try to reach out to the teenager to request his money back. The teenager didn¡¯t pick up the call and did not respond to the text initially.?
To no avail, the man texted, "Hi, Your number is switched off. I'm considering this as a fraud. Either return the money by 12 PM or I'm reporting everything this to my father who is in the cyber fraud dept."
He also said, "Hey dude. Are you returning my money or not? Just say yes or no. I've already registered the case and going to take some more action from my end. The police is currently probing?the?CCTV."?
Later, when the man threatened to report his number to cyber fraud, the teenager responded and returned his money?after?all.?
