The?Kirloskar saga began in 1888 when Laxmanrao Kirloskar?set up a?small bicycle repair shop at Belgaum (now Belagavi).

As per reports, the Kirloskar Group makes revenues worth $2.5 billion?and directly?employs more than 18,000 people.?The company presently exports to?more than 70 countries, which comprise mostly all the African, Southeast Asian, and European continents.
