Koala population has taken a massive hit in Australian Bushfires.?Animal rescuers and volunteers are doing what they can to take care of the remaining population, many of whom are suffering from burns.?
People around the world are raising money in ways they know best, for the safekeeping and caretaking of these animals. But one section of society that is really going out of its way to take care of these animals is the Australian Army.?
Australian Army soldiers are reportedly using their days off from helping the country to care for koalas in need.
Talking about it on Facebook the Australian Army wrote, ¡®#OurPeople from 16th Regiment Emergency Support Force have used their rest periods to lend a helping hand at the Cleland Wildlife Park, supporting our furry friends during feeding time and by building climbing mounts inside the park¡¯.
The post says that the use of free time, apart from being a help to the koalas also is a medium of relief to the 16th Regiment Emergency Support Force.?
The time spent at Cleland Wildlife Park was ¡®a great morale boost for our hard-working team in the Adelaide Hills,¡¯ the Australian Army wrote.
According to reports, over 1 billion animals, have lost their lives in the bushfires this season.??
