As the photograph gained traction on social media, people praised the shooter as a "new legend" and linked him to the Paris Olympics 2024.
However, it was eventually revealed that the viral photograph was a forgery. The image was Photoshopped and has nothing to do with the current games in Paris.
According to accounts, the person in the image is not a shooter, but rather Pongsak Pongsuwan, a Thai entertainer and comedian. The image was beautifully cut from the popular Thai game show "Ching Roi Ching Lan".
The video clearly shows how the actor-comedian's visage was Photoshopped from the show and a background of the Paris Olympics was added to it.Fans praised Yusuf Dikec, who won silver in the Mixed 50m Pistol event.?
Dikec, 51, went viral on social media not only for his shooting abilities but also for his casual approach to competing in the Olympics without any special equipment.?
