They pulled out every stop, from a cheeky newspaper ad that poked fun at typical political ads, to a hilarious roast featuring top comedians roasting Zomato itself. How's that for a birthday celebration?
Recently, a clip from Zomato's star-studded roast is taking the internet by storm, and it features comedian Swati Sachdeva.

She then roasted Zomato for their new platform fee hike from Rs 5 to Rs 6 and their reduced free delivery distance from 10 km to just 7 km.
She poked fun at the rainy weather surge pricing with: "Inka product manager na top floor pe bhaagta hua jata hain, ki baadal aagaye chalo bhai baarish ka surge laga du."
And she didn't stop there¡ªSachdeva even took a playful jab at Zomato-owned Blinkit's CEO Albinder Dhindsa, saying, "Blinkit mujhe samaj nahi aata. Delivery jab banda koi kar raha hain.. toh pakdayega na wo khaana...toh handling (fee?) kaise matlab?"
Sachdeva also had a laugh at Zomato's branded tape on all food orders with, "Tum log apne phate hue note pe phi zomato ki tape lagate ho na?"
