As floods continued to wreak havoc in Australia's New South Wales, a pregnant bride stranded on her wedding day was flown out of troubled waters in a helicopter after a desperate plea.
Kate Fotheringham was stuck on one side of town and unable to get over to her wedding venue as the bridge she had to cross to get to town was flooded on the mid-north coast of New South Wales.??

?With no way to get to her venue, she made a plea for help on social media.? ?
"Help me! It¡¯s my wedding day and we¡¯re flooded in! We need help to get to Wingham over the flooded creek. Anyone know someone willing to help?" she wrote.??
As luck would have it, a company named?Affinity Helicopters answered the call and arrived at the property?and flew the bride and her parents to the wedding venue.
Minutes later the bride-to-be was safely at the venue and ready to wed.
Her dad Peter walked her down the aisle, and finally -?after an adventure to the alter - the couple was pronounced husband and wife.
More than 18,000 people have been evacuated from their homes in New South Wales (NSW)?as heavy rains and major flooding?continue to?inundate the state, causing some areas to resemble "inland seas", CNN reported.?

No deaths had been reported but thousands of people have been evacuated and troops deployed after days of torrential downpours across the country.
Prime Minister?Scott Morrison has?said the rain was expected to ease on Wednesday but the flood threat would remain.
