We can no longer say that robots are the future because they are the present. In May, we already saw a robot dog asking visitors in a Singapore park to maintain distance. The high-tech robot was enlisted by Singapore authorities to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus infection.
The four-legged remote-controlled machine was built by Boston Dynamics and was first deployed at a central park for a two-week trial - this yellow and black coloured robot dog was named SPOT.
Reportedly, earlier this month the US Air Force used quadruped 'dog' robots to defend the perimeters at Nellis Air Force Base during a field test.?
Now, a video of a robot dog spotted in public is going viral probably because that's how much people are freaking out.
The video was shared on Twitter by user @bloodtear and it features a black and yellow coloured robot dog walking down a street casually.

One sees the robot walking down the street as two women starts recording it. It stops almost at the exact moment one of the woman says ¡°Oh my God¡±, the robodog seem to assess what¡¯s going on, before taking a couple of steps back and going about its business on the street. Another woman shouts from behind it, ¡°I love you so much¡±.
The robot has been identified as SPOT, as the words 'Boston Dynamics' are clearly seen on the left side of its upper body.
