Deliberate coughing or sneezing is not just indecentbehaviour, but also extremely irresponsible and disrespectful amid the ongoing pandemic. Schools acrossthe UK now have a strict rule that if a student is caught fake-coughing, strictpunishment will be enforced.
According to reports, a school in the UK has warned parents that students will be suspended if they did not abide by the rules, and were found fake-coughing.
One of the most punitive behavioural policies has beenintroduced by Ark Alexandra Academy in Hastings, East Sussex, which makes itclear that even playground jibes about the pandemic are banned, reports Mail Online.

In a letter home this month, Jerome Scafe, an associateprincipal, set out the school's new 'coronavirus red lines'.
It warned: 'The following behaviours may result in afixed-term exclusion: deliberate or malicious coughs/sneezes at any point;humorous, inappropriate comments or statements related to the coronavirus;purposeful physical contact with any other person; repeated failure to followinstructions within an appropriate timeframe resulting in the student needsto be removed from lesson'.
Students have also been instructed to use specific lavatoriesand they must have their lunch or tiffin at their respective desks.
The school will also get their own disposable yet recyclableplastic cups, so that students don't have to carry their own bottles. Thesecups will be used once and then disposed, in order to reduce the risk ofspreading the virus.
Students in many schools might have to appear in the fullPPE kits and they have been suggested to wash their clothes daily.
