The whole world is condemning Russian President Vladimir Putin for invading Ukraine. Mr Putin ordered Russian troops into Ukraine which has caused a massive damage and loss to life and property.?
Now, US Senator Lindsey Graham went on live TV and called for Putin's assassination during his interview with Fox News. He said that somebody in Russia has to step up and take "this guy out". He added only Russian people can fix the issue.?
The video of him asking for the assassination is going viral on social media.?
After the video went viral, Senator Graham took to Twitter and reiterated what he feels is the best case scenario for Russia.?
"The only people who can fix this are the Russian people. Easy to say, hard to do. Unless you want to live in darkness for the rest of your life, be isolated from the rest of the world in abject poverty, and live in darkness you need to step up to the plate," Senator Graham wrote on on the microblogging website.
"Is there a Brutus in Russia? Is there a more successful Colonel Stauffenberg in the Russian military? The only way this ends is for somebody in Russia to take this guy out. You would be doing your country - and the world - a great service," the senator said.?
While most of us (hopefully) know that Brutus was a reference from Julius Caesar, Colonel Stauffenberg was the German officer whose bomb failed to kill Adolf Hiter in 1944.
Earlier in the day, Russian shelling caused a fire at the training complex in the nuclear plant which led to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky appealling to the world that this is a nuclear attack and all European countries should protest because if it explodes, then that would be the end to Europe.
