One can see elaborately decorated?cows and bulls, their horns colored and bells tied around their necks and legs. People lie down, not caring that they might get hurt, fatally.?
For the festival that is celebrated two-days after Diwali, the tribals decorate and color bulls and cows, and let them walk over their bodies. The risky act of letting cows and bulls walk or even run over themselves their way of thanking god for fulfilling their wishes.?
This is also their way of atoning any sins they might have committed against these animals.?
