TXT announces 'long-term hiatus' to prioritise family time, Big Hit Music releases statement

BIG HIT MUSIC has announced that Tomorrow X Together, also known as TXT, will be taking a long break starting after their planned activities in early January 2025. This break will give members Yeonjun, Choi Soo Bin, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huening Kai a chance to spend quality time with their families before making an extraordinary comeback.

BIGHIT announces long break for TXT

After a whirlwind year of dominating the K-pop scene with non-stop promotions, concerts, and music releases, TXT is finally taking a breather. In an official statement, BIGHIT Music announced that Tomorrow X Together (TXT) will be taking a 'long-term hiatus' after their appearance on the 39th Golden Disc Awards scheduled on January 5. The five-piece group will use this time to focus on their health, personal growth, and family bonding.

Hello, this is BIGHIT MUSIC. We are here to inform you of TXT’s long-term hiatus schedule.

Following the 39th Golden Disc Awards scheduled on January 5, they will wrap up the 2024 year activities and take a long-term break.

They will use this time to spend quality time with their families and take sufficient rest to prepare to return to MOAs for an amazing 2025 ahead.

We ask for your support and understanding as the members take time off in their own ways. TXT will return with an even more remarkable presence to express their gratitude towards MOA. Thank you.

?MOAs show support for TXT's 'long break'

Though it came as a surprise, fans have welcomed TXT's break, lauding BIGHIT for allowing the boys to take the well-deserved rest.

"Please, Rest well TXT. You did so well. Thank you for staying so strong for a long time. Please eat well. Please spend time with family. Please get good rest, do not worry about MOA. We’ll be fine as long as you are too. We love you," one fan wrote.

"Have a good rest, my stars. you have worked very hard all this time, may next year be a golden year for you guys," wrote another MOA.

Echoing similar sentiments, a third fan commented, "I'm proud of you, happy to hear that you were given rest by the agency, please rest and have a happy holiday, Moa promise will always be here for you."

"At first I was shocked but then we got so happy for them. Rest well txt, you deserve it !!!" another fan added.
