Indian weddings are fascinating for foreigners, and for those visiting the country, experiencing one is (almost) the ultimate goal.?
The colours, attire, Bollywood music and the energy is absolutely magnetic for many, just like these three American tourists. In a video that's going viral, three people can be seen prancing down a road and actually being invited to a random wedding.?
Take a look:?
One on the one hand it's quite amusing to see just how excited they were by the sound of loud Bollywood songs blasting off from those speakers. On the other hand, it's also heartwarming to see how the people at the party almost immediately dragged them in for celebrations.
The video soon sparked a debate on Reddit and people had their own take on this incident.
One user wrote, 'I doubt they'd be welcomed with the same open arms if they were lower caste Indians instead of white Americans. Quite the opposite would have happened really.'?
Another wrote, 'This lol. It's nice people are being nice to foreigners but towards fellow Indians we are not so nice most of the time.'
Which is true to a huge extent!?
There certainly is a striking double standard in this video, but none-the-less we can't deny the fact that Indians just love having a bloody good time, doesn't matter if there are strangers at the wedding.
