The St. Agnes Coastguard Search and Rescue Team was called to the location on Sunday, not long after lifeguards could be heard yelling, "You can't park there."?
St. Agnes Coastguard Search and Rescue Team posted images and footage of the incident and stated: "The vehicle was eventually removed. At 10:19 a.m., the squad dispersed and went back to the station."
The caption of the video posted on Facebook informed, "Team tasked to the Trevaunance Beach car wash to make sure all occupants were out of the vehicle and safe.We remained on scene whilst recovery efforts were made and the vehicle was finally removed.Team stood down and returned to station at 1019hrs."
The team clarified that they would remain on the scene until the crisis was resolved and the car was removed from the road.The car was probably rendered undriveable after being pulled out of the water.?
An online video clip displayed seawater dribbling down the vehicle's exhaust pipe. The automobile was reportedly towed after being recovered. Parking vehicles too close to the water is never a smart idea.
