The founder of Tesla and Space X, Elon Musk, is caught in a weird soup for stealing a meme and posting it on Twitter like it were his, and now it seems he's going to have to pay a huge price for it (well, it might not be that big for him).
Musk recently shared a meme of an adorable pooch which read, 'My dog got a haircut and now it looks like he gave up drinking'.?Captioning the snap, Musk wrote, 'So proud'.?

Soon after the posting the meme, people started asking Musk is it was his dog. One user asked,'Is your dog a Havanese?' to which Musk very confidently replied saying 'One is Havanese & one came from the pound'.
But people online realised that Musk actually stole a joke and posted it like it was his. Many started calling him a 'joke thief'.?
And the claim was cemented after American stand-up comedian Morgan Murphy claimed that the dog belonged to her and tweeted, 'Hi this is my joke &my dog. His name is Jack. May I have a car please?'
Morgan added, 'Anyhow, that¡¯s his name and my tattoo is to remember it (see, because I am ¡°jack¡¯s¡±) but also to celebrate the universe. hope you are helping people and maybe you will eventually see this in due time. amen'.??
For those unaware, back in April 2019, Musk tweeted saying, 'We have a big dog called Gatsby, a little dog called Marvin the Martian & a cat named Schr?dinger.' The small dog's breed is similar to the picture that he stole from the comedian.?
?Apart from dog picture stealing fiasco, Musk was earlier slammed for being complacent about the coronavirus pandemic saying the 'panic was dumb'. He has also been at the receiving end of scrutiny over the ventilators that his factory produced and donated to hospitals after claims of it being machines for sleep apnea went viral.?
However, Tesla and SpaceX founder quickly defended himself after a supporter noted that New York governer,?Andrew Cuomo, confirmed the BiPAP machines could be converted into the ventilators required to treat COVID-19 patients and hit out in another tweet saying, 'Weird that so many troll/bot accounts were activated to attack this fake issue'.
