In an alarming incident, a 19-year-old in Hyderabad suffered a brain stroke after playing PUBG for hours at a stretch. The dangers of playing the game are well-known and there have been countless incidents in which individuals have died from playing PUBG.
According to the doctors at the hospital in Hyderabad, playing such stressful games can lead to blood clots in the brain, which is a condition called thrombosis. This can cut off blood supply which can lead to a stroke.?

After having played the game at a stretch for a seven hours, the young boy felt that his right leg and hand were going numb. He was entirely focused on getting a chicken dinner and he would often skip meals as well.?
The boyĄ¯s mother also reportedly said that he would start playing the game around 9 pm in the evening and continue playing till early morning, around 3-4 am. He would stop playing when he had to go out for his part time job - selling newspapers.?
The pressure on his mind and playing the game for so long, eventually led to few clots in his brain. But thankfully, the stroke wasnĄ¯t fatal. The boy was treated at the hospital and was later discharged.?
