Reportedly, the teacher had a role in aiding and abetting the suicide of a girl named Sanika Mahadev Mali. According to an Edex Live report, the girl was to appear for the upcoming SSC board examinations and wanted to be a top scorer. The only 'fault' was she lacked confidence.?
Days before the scheduled exams the girl allegedly requested her teacher Nilesh Balu Pradhane to provide her a bottle of pesticide. And he did!?The report states that?Nikesh brought her the bottle of pesticide and gave it to Sanika, who mixed it with water and drank it.
After consuming pesticide on February 20, Sanika fell unconscious and was admitted to a private hospital. She died on February 25.?
During the course of the investigation, police detained Nikesh on Thursday as a suspect and he confessed to the crime.?
