A hair-raising video is going viral showing a climber?clinging onto a cliff face?after getting injured during a fall.?
The solo climber suffered multiple injuries after he fell in Kolob Canyon, which is in Zion National Park in Utah, US.?
The climber was able to yell to his father, who was in the parking lot, who was able to contact park rangers to help.?However, park rangers?couldn¡¯t reach him.?
Rescuers from the Utah Department of Public Safety Aero Bureau responded to the scene and were able to rescue him. The?department posted images and footage of his miraculous rescue on Instagram.??
The climber had to survive the 45-degree weather in only shorts and a t-shirt for about 12 hours.??
The video shows?the rescuers abseiling toward the injured hiker, who barely managed to hold himself up in the odd?landscape.
The expert reaches the man and hands him a safety harness before hoisting him up to the helicopter.
"We fly every day, but today took us to Zion and Kolob canyon," the rescue team wrote on the post.
"A solo climber fell sustaining multiple injuries. In the first photo, you can see him in the centre of the cliff face.?He spent the night there cold, injured, unprepared. Please plan ahead before you go out. Shout out to the park rangers who located him and guided us in.?A quick pick and a short flight later the victim is safe at the LZ," they added.?

Johnni DiJulius, who describes himself as a wrestler and base jumper, was out for another adrenaline-pumping experience with a large group when his parachute tore immediately after jumping off a cliff.??
In footage captured by himself, the base jumper starts off with a daring leap off a ledge, saying: "Three, two, one, see ya."?
But he soon realises he's in trouble when his leg bends backwards, as he struggles to regain his balance and soars down the cliff in an unstable manner. Johnni realises his parachute has ripped, stating, ¡°I¡¯ve shredded my f***ing canopy ¨C s**t.¡±??
After a short glide in the air, he soon crashes into another part of the?cliff?with force as his parachute gives out.??
Luckily, Johnni walked away with no injuries.??
