Property disputes aren't unheard of and people can get really nasty while being involved in one. From family to neighbours, everyone has their own drama when it comes to 'This is mine' and things get out of hand very quickly.
The court can help but sometimes, the outcome is not in favour of both parties and things tend to get ugly.?
The latest example to this conflict is from the US state of Maine, where a homeowner cut his next-door neighbour's garage in half after surveyors confirmed that it was built on the former's property.

The man, Gabriel Brawn, is a construction worker, and used an electric saw on the garage that is located right next to his home.??He used the tool and cut the garage clearly into two.?Pictures of the half-cut garage have now been circulated on social media.
Gabrial ended up having a row with his neighbour, Blake Ritter, over the ownership of the property which led him to take matters into his own hands.
According to reports, Blake had wrongly ordered the Brawn family off his property after they had called in some tree removal service.
Unhappy with how he was treated, Gabriel contacted two surveyors to come and perform a survey of the two properties and it turned out that Gabriel's plot of land ran along the center of the driveway and through the garage that belongs to Blake Ritter's family.

According to Gabriel's wife, their relationship with the family had changed ever since the death of Blake Ritter's father.
Explaining how neighborly relations had declined in the wake of Steve Ritter¡¯s (Blake's father) death, Gabriel¡¯s wife Tracy Brawn, told the Bangor Daily News: "When the dad was alive this was a perfect place to live.?As soon as that poor man passed away this place turned to craziness and chaos."?
The Brawns had tried to buy their neighbor¡¯s home to settle the dispute. But Gabriel got out his electric saw after Blake Ritter politely asked to retrieve his dad¡¯s ashes from the mis-zoned property.
"We said, please do (get the ashes). We want our property back because we¡¯ve been paying taxes on it for years," said Tracy.?
"But he went over there and started throwing trash all over the place and smashing glass and taking bureaus and throwing them outside in the yard."
The next day, Gabriel slashed the garage in half and left debris from the part he had dismantled on Ritter's side of the property.

The Ritters¡¯ home is currently empty, although Blake and his mom Theresa are believed to be aware of what has happened to their garage. Police have also been notified of the incident, but do not plan to take any action. And Tracy Brawn said the drama had taught her family a hard lesson. She explained: "We¡¯re putting up a fence. Fences make good neighbors."
