Most of us would be terrified if we spotted two?snakes?close to us. A video of an Australian man's casual attitude toward snakes is going viral.?
The video, which is undated, shows a man golfing while two snakes?fight?just behind him. Instead of fleeing or shooing the snakes away, he continues to play before going away.?
According to reports, the film was shot on a golf course in Brisbane,?Australia. There are about 140 snake species in Australia, which may explain why the golfer or person filming the video was unconcerned.
UNILAD shared this video on Instagram on Friday. An Instagram user commented, "Australian people are built differently, we need more of them." Someone else said, "I want to be this unbothered and brave."?
"No one is talking about the cameraman being closer to snakes than the golfer," one guy said. Many people argued over whether the snakes were fighting or mating.
"Who says they're fighting?" one Instagram user wondered. It appears to be mating. There is no biting or anything like that. As a result, I don't believe they're fighting." According to him, the video contains "coastal carpet pythons."
"To everyone who says these aren't fighting, but rather mating. You are incorrect. Two male coastal carpet pythons. They are competing for the privilege to mate with a female nearby."?
This is not the first time a snake has been spotted on an Australian golf course. Back in January, The Coast Golf Club in southern Sydney, Australia, tweeted a video of a big snake slithering out of a golf hole.?
The red-bellied black snake was identified as this snake. It is a venomous snake that can grow to be up to 6.5 feet long. The venom of this snake can cause nausea, vomiting, headaches, stomach pain, sweating, and muscle pain.?
While people can tolerate the snake's bite with little discomfort, it can be fatal to pets or toddlers. Watch the video here.
