What is it about snakes that makes us squeamish but equally intrigued??When it comes to getting your pet snake to listen?or hoping you don't cross paths with them, definitely?not on a flight, anything to do with snakes usually doesn't have the best outcome for mortal humans. Surprisingly, in this viral snake video, the snake swam up to a young man and paused as if taking in the moment. Here's what went on.??

The clip shows a young man sitting on a rock and happily strumming his guitar when out of nowhere a big snake swims up to him. It first rests its head on his leg, then swims a little closer, and takes another brief pause before finally swimming away. The moment lasted no more than a few seconds, but what stood out was the human-snake interaction in this case. All animals understand compassion, and as more and more evidence will have you believe, they even enjoy a little music, something that's not limited to dogs anymore.
Another remarkable thing to note is the young lad's reaction; he remained cool and calm, which is probably the vibe the snake picked up on, and swam away before nudging him with his head as if saying 'thank you.'

The video, posted on Instagram by user Miller Wilson on March 24, has raked in 1.2 million views, 1.2 million likes and comments to match. "I think he was drawn to the vibrations of the guitar, hence why he was super chill what a good lad, very beautiful video," was one user's honest take. "You should've kept playing. He liked it," chimed in a second. "Heard the accent, completely understood how he was so calm. Aussies built diffy," added a third.
One glance at Wilson's Instagram feed and you'll realise why there was nothing unusual (at least for him, one can guess) about his reaction. He seems to be quite an animal lover and often posts photos and videos of his interaction with amazing wildlife creatures. It's unclear where the video comes from, but most in the comments guessed it was from Australia.
