It was just another day for?Alex Coreas who decided to take his three dogs for a walk?but little did he know, a lightning strike would soon change his life.

Surveillance cameras captured the moment when the lighting strike blew Coreas¡¯ shoes and socks off, leaving him standing stock-still.
Coreas face first hit the ground when a witness Corey Hart, who was in his car at the time, rushed over to help him. Luckily he was saved by two employees at the hospital and a stranger. The incident happened on October 3.
"I started running through the hospital because someone was like, 'We need help with CPR,'" clinic worker Christy Mittler said.
"We rolled him over and we were sweeping out his stuff. We were knocking him on his back, telling him, 'It's OK. You got hit by lightning'," Mittler recalled.
The footage has been put out online to spread the importance of CPR training and the dangers of extreme weather.
