Several people were injured due to the chaotic brawl, ranging from small scrapes and bruises to more serious wounds requiring medical attention. Emergency medical staff arrived quickly to assist people in need.
At least a dozen people were involved in the brawl, which began when two assaulted a 24-year-old?woman. Two suspects were also arrested at the scene: 18-year-old Christopher Hampton and 20-year-old Tembra Hicks. The police have detained them and charged them with misdemeanour violence.

One woman is seen using her headphones as a weapon before being knocked to the ground by a male who punches her, prompting the onlookers to yell even louder.
Others are seen holding the woman on the floor, while travel pillows and other goods can be seen spilling around the baggage claim area. The woman on the floor in the centre tries to get to her feet and away from the brawl, with some of her bright red braids left on the ground.
The passengers resorted to violence on the lower level of Terminal 3 somewhere around 11 p.m., according to Chicago police. The suspects arrested at the scene were each charged with one count of misdemeanour violence.
