What makes 'Cr¨¨me dela Cr¨¨me Pommes Frites' so expensive?
The fries start out as Chipperbec potatoes. They are blanched in vinegar and champagne. Then they fry in pure goose fat, not oil, and not once but twice, so they are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.
It also contains Guerande truffle salt, truffle oil, Crete Senesi Pecorino Tartufello cheese, shaved black summer truffles from Italy, truffle butter, organic A2 100% grass-fed cream from Jersey cows, aged Gruyere Truffled Swiss and this is the import bit...a?23k edible gold dust topping.??
However, these French fries don¡¯t even match up to the astonishing price tag of 'world's most expensive' burger.?
Last year, a Dutch chef made the 'world's most expensive' burger containing?Beluga Caviar, priced at Rs 4.4 lakh.
The burger, made by Robbert Jan de Veen of 'de Daltons' diner, was sold to Netherlands-based conglomerate Remia International on June 28 with its proceeds being donated to a non-profit organization that assists food banks in The Netherlands,?Esquire Middle East reported.? ?
