The famous PUBG game is in hot soup once again and this time the request to ban PUBG has come from Jammu and Kashmir Students Association. In a report published by Pristine Kashmir, the Association has requested the governor to impose a ban on the game because it is distracting students and resulting in bad grades.
Poor results of class 10th and 12th compelled the student association to request a ban on the game. The website also reported that the Chairman of the student¡¯s association termed the game as ¡®future spoiler¡¯, addressing the concerns of parents.
"The game should have been banned immediately after the poor performance of 12th and 10th class results but still we haven¡¯t seen any action," said the Deputy Chairman of the student¡¯s association.
The Deputy Chairman also said that PUBG had become more of a concern than drug addiction because youngsters seem to be addicted to it. Smartphones and unlimited data plans are only making the problem worse.
This is not the only damage PUBG seems to have caused - A few weeks ago, a fitness trainer from Jammu had ended up in the hospital after injuring himself while playing PUBG for 10 days. Doctors had reportedly said that he was 'losing his mental balance'.
