Indians on social media are smitten by the American dad, Ricky Pond. From the general public to desi influencers everyone has been sharing his videos of dancing to different Indian songs, be it Bollywood, Tamil, and now the latest, Bhojpuri.?
He dances on these Indian tracks with his family members. Sometimes his daughter, at times his son and sometimes even his wife. His moves and the way he enjoys his own performance have struck a chord with people, which is why his latest video is winning hearts again.
To flaunt his dancing skills, he has now picked up the famous Bhojpuri song 'Lollypop Lagelu.' On his Instagram page, Pond posted the video and tagged the singer Pawan Singh in it.
The video has received about 25,000 likes since being posted online and has been flooded with people lauding Pond for his collection of songs. Some have also gone on to clarify to Pond the meaning of the album.
¡®Hahaha! Omg! That¡¯s the most hippie song of rural India before being popular in the whole of India. It means ¨C Boy saying to the girl that when you put on lipstick, the whole district go moves (as in going head over heels crazy). We all can dance on it anytime!¡¯ one person commented on the clip.?
He can be seen grooving to the song with his daughter in the background. They depict the words they understand from the song in their dance moves. On any given day Ricky Pond steals the attention from his family members just because of the energy and enthusiasm with which he dances to Indian songs.?
Previously, Ricky Pond released a video dancing to the song O Beta Ji, with his son in the background, and people absolutely loved the two of them and applauded them for their on-point Bollywood dance moves.
In their oversized hoodies and pyjamas, the father-son duo danced to the lyrics of the song O Beta Ji, sometimes matching their moves exactly to the lyrics.
Originally recorded for the movie Albela, the track was reused for the recently-released film Ludo.
He is slowly and surely creating an Indian fanbase with his videos. What do you think of his dance moves??
