For those unaware, Nusr-Et restaurant opened in Istanbul, Turkey, his home country¡¯s capital. Since its launch in 2010, Nusr-Et has expanded internationally, with locations all over Turkey, the U.A.E, and the United States.
But things went awry at Salt Bae's Miami restaurant where a customer named Duane Miranda simply refused to pay a bill worth Rs 3 lakh!?
The edible gold leaf does not add any flavour or any texture to your food per se, but it's all about luxury and indulgence.?
According to reports,?Miranda visited the steakhouse with a group of friends and they selected a couple of the steaks. When the order arrived on the table, there were some steaks wrapped in gold leaf.?
Miranda and his friends weren't aware of the difference and went ahead, but were shocked to see the bill. They tried to argue saying that they only placed an order for the standard steaks, but the restaurant insisted that they went for the gold option.?
According to reports,?the?general manager said that the?menu is clear and that the police were called because Miranda¡¯s party threatened to leave without paying the bill. Although Miranda eventually picked up the check, he has taken to social media to slam staff at Nusr-Et for being careless.?
