We all know that Australia is famous for its exotic creatures, both inside the homes and outside them. While some make their presence obvious, other animals have sly ways to trick humans. And acing the game of?camouflage, this snake is not too far behind.
This picture of two children ambling along a pathway just inches away from one of the world's deadliest snakes has gone?viral with people trying to spot the snake.
However, the picture is more of warning to people taking long treks through dense forests. The photo had been originally posted by the official Facebook page of?Snake Catcher Victoria Australia.
"No one saw the large Eastern brown snake until they looked at the pics later. The snake saw them coming and watched as they unknowingly skipped past," reads the FB post.
According to The Sun, the photo was taken on Monday by the children's mother. It was sent to Snake Catcher Victoria Australia by their grandfather, who wanted to use it as an opportunity to explain how to handle snake sightings.
Snake Catcher Victoria Australia wrote that the snake in this particular picture saw the children coming and "watched as they unknowingly skipped past."
"Really goes to show that snakes are not aggressive and just need respect," the snake-catching service said.
The photo has been taken at a property in Eskdale on the Mitta Mitta river in North East Victoria.?
Just so you don't go crazy, look at the ground on the right of the kids and find the snake.?
