In March this year, people on twitter found an episode that is awfully similar to the pandemic situation we are all facing.?
The Simpsons episode is from 1993, season four episode named, ¡®Marge In Chains¡¯. The episode shows some factory workers in Japan, packing a juicer that is to be shipped to the US (or rather, Springfield).?
One of the two workers is sick and while conversing with his colleague, he accidentally coughs in the box itself, and later sealing it which gets sent to the truck for shipment. A TV presenter in the episode calls it ¡®Osaka Virus¡¯ since it originated from Japan, unlike Wuhan in Hubei Province, China, where COVID-19 actually came from.?
