While most people will be proud of not holding a criminal record, things were different for this 104-year-old grandmother. Anne Brokenbrow's final bucket list wish was to get arrested by the police, no kidding!
Brokenbrow, a resident at the Stokeleigh Care Home in England, wanted to be handcuffed and arrested by police officers at Bristol.?
According to local reports, the grandma who has "never been on the wrong side of the law," was detained by officers inside a care home in Bristol.
But before they could carry out the fake arrest stunt, police had to go through birth records of over a hundred years ago while carrying check for this 'arrest'.?
In a Facebook post-Stokeleigh Care home stated: 'What a magical day! Today Anne got her wish to be arrested at the grand young age of 104 for being an upstanding citizen!'
'It¡¯s something that she has always wanted to experience. Thanks to Avon and Somerset Police and to Alive Activities and Bristol Wishing Washing Line for helping us to make this happen. Anne has had a great day she enjoyed every minute from the hand cuffs to the ride in the police car.'
Anne is a retired pensioner woman who lives in a care home for the elderly was once working as a secretary and had been born in 1914.?
