A fictional character once said, ¡®if you are good at something, never do it for free¡¯. Conversely, if you are not good at something, you should not do it at all. This robber should have never entered the robbing business. Even though I do not know the rules of robbery, but I believe if you are carrying a gun, you should not keep it loose in front of someone you are robbing. That¡¯s literally the only thing you have to scare them with.?
Let me make things clearer for you.?
An armed robber entered a Kentucky hotel in style, all masked up and looking like a thief out of a movie. One can see that in the viral video. He points the gun at the receptionist, who does the only thing she can do - give the money at the counter to him.
From the very beginning the receptionist did not seem too freaked out by the robber, she even pushed him back (while he was pointing a gun at her) when he tried to come to the side of the counter. She hurled the money at him and quite out of consideration, even gave him a plastic bag to take the money in.?
This is where you see where the priorities of the stupid robber lie. Dazed by the sight of so many notes, he kept the gun at the counter and started collecting all the cash. The thought of pointing the gun right back at him hits you before it hits the receptionist. Looking at the video you wonder, ¡®the gun is just lying there, why isn¡¯t she picking it up¡¯? While she watches him steal the cash, it suddenly hits her and she picks the gun from the counter and points it back at him.?
The moment is hilarious. The robber turns around and runs out of the hotel like lightning. But that is not the end of it. HE COMES BACK TO GET HIS GUN!?
You cannot hear the conversation but you can imagine he is asking the receptionist to return his gun (and she refused to do so).?
The man was later identified as Cory Phillips (26) and was arrested by Paducah Police Department.?
No doubt they caught him, his robbery skills did not seem to polished enough, to begin with.?
