In a video posted to the sub Reddit r/insteresting, a beefed-up, full-grown kangaroo can be seen trying to drown a dog. The dog unable to fight, can be seen closing its eyes as if almost giving up. His wonder then rushes to the spot, camera on and recording. "I'm gonna punch your f****ing head in. Let go of my dog," he tells the marsupial in a sing-song voice, clearly issuing a threat before the camera drops in the water and a scuffle ensues. A few seconds later, the camera goes above water and focuses on the kangaroo that can be seen standing on its hind legs in the water as the man slowly retreats. Sensing that the fight has ended, the kangaroo looks away while the man makes it to the bank.
He can later be seen walking on a trail with his three dogs. He checks them to see if they're okay. He then shows his hand to the camera which, by now is covered in gashes and blood. The 41-second video, although brief, is uncomfortable to watch and quite an eye-opener for non-Australians unfamiliar with the animal.
According to experts, kangaroos will defend themselves against dogs without a second thought, and this can draw you into a dangerous situation quite like this one.

Looks like they do this shit just because they want to," shot a fourth.
