What happens when you mess with animals? They mess back and leave you with a life lesson you'll never forget. Having them as pets is cute and all but that doesn't mean you forget where they come from and what they're capable of. This viral video is an example of that.
In a recent video shared by the page More Crazy Clips on X, a man in a red shirt is seen manhandling a snake. The snake, a?red-tailed boa constrictor, hangs off the man's hands who moves him from the grass to what seems like a flower bed. It was there that he learnt what he had forgotten - a bite doesn't have to have poison to be painful.
Although the snake seem to initially hang while he's moved about, he does issue a warning of sorts before coiling just enough to land a bite on the man's hand. The dude immediately throws the snake to the ground and retracts his hand while wincing in pain. That's where the video cuts off.?
It's not clear who the man in the video is, but one guess is that he's the slithery pet's owner. Before you ask, boa constrictors are part of the pet trade and their bites, though non-venomous and still painful like the man in the video eventually found out.
After being posted online on March 25, the video went on to collect more than 1.6 million views. One user explained, "This is a non-venomous red-tailed boa constrictor. They¡¯re commonly kept in the pet trade, and their bites are non-fatal, but still extremely painful. It¡¯s best not to handle a snake in a defensive posture like this one without special equipment, even if they¡¯re non-venomous.¡±
¡°Those teeth are basically needles. It¡¯s not *fun* getting poked by a handful of needles in the hand/arm, but neither is it dangerous. Memorable experience, though!¡± wrote another. So there you have it kids, don't mess with animals and do not try this at home.
