Most of us end up falling in love with people who do not reciprocate. That is the Channa Meraeya story of more than half the world, and also this pig. A live interview had to be brought to a halt, as a pig could not stop showing affection for a male reporter in Greece.?
¡°Good morning, we have an issue,¡± squealed Lazos Mantikos, as the pig pursued him. He was to deliver his report on the devastating effects of torrential rains in the resort town of Kineta. ¡°Giorgos can you hear me, we have a pig here that has been chasing us since this morning ¡ folks sorry I can¡¯t stand [still] because it¡¯s biting me,¡± he said further, in the now viral video.?
The incident was captured on ANT1 TV¡¯s Good Morning Greece show. Giorgos Papadakis, its veteran anchor, talked about the serious issue of mudslides and flooded homes and said,¡°Now let¡¯s go to Kineta where [people] are counting their wounds. Lazos Mantikos is there.¡±
?
However, it turned?out it was Mantikos who was ¡°counting his wounds¡±. No matter how hard the reporter tried or which direction he decided to move, the pig was quick to follow him. The pig¡¯s final (love) bite knocked Matikos out of the frame.?
¡°Lazos, because it¡¯s a tragic issue and we are counting our wounds in Kineta try and work things out with the female pig,¡± Papadakis said, to cover up for the unforeseen circumstance and apologised to the audience about the laughter in the studio.
?
The TV presenter also said to the reporter, "I¡¯ll leave you to mend your relationship."
It was also the TV presenter who informed ¡®Lazo¡¯ that the pig was a female. Well, the pig was surely ready to express her love in front of the entire world, but I guess it just was not meant to oink - sorry, be.?
