You must have seen referees being caught in the middle of wrestlers in WWE. Sometimes, wrestlers knock them out on purpose, and other times it's a genuine mistake. Some of us,?however, have our doubts about how legitimate WWE is.?
The footage below, shows a referee getting injured during a wrestling match. Angel Melian was umpiring a match in Santa Ursula on the island of Tenerife, during a series of bouts between first division island sides Tijarafe Guanche and Tenerife Shipyards Ravelo. During the match, one of the wrestlers kicked the referee right on his face, breaking his jaw.?

In the now viral footage, you can see two wrestlers going at it. Angel moves in a little closer to get a better look but he hurriedly moves back when he realises that one of the wrestlers is trying to lift the other. He is ,however, too late.
As the rival is lifted off the ground his flailing right leg kicks Angel right in his face and one can hear the spectators going ¡®ooh¡¯ in the video.?
Ruben Rodriguez¡¯s leg made contact with Angel¡¯s chin, and he fell to the ground with a thud. His glasses flew off with the kick and he dropped to the ground as a concerned audience watched. The wrestlers immediately stopped their match and rushed to help the referee. He was soon taken to the hospital, where he found that his jaw was broken.?
According to Daily Mail, this is what the tweets of a journalist read, 'The footage is brutal. I've spoken to Angel and he's devastated. He's got a broken jaw and he's in a lot of pain. He told me the outcome could have been a lot worse if he had been hit elsewhere. He's on painkillers and waiting for the surgeon to have a look at him and decide when to operate'.
