A small plane made a dramatic safety landing on a busy road in Pierce County, Washington after its fuel system malfunctioned.?
The video of the same went viral on the internet and it shows the single propeller plane landing on a busy road. The video was shared on Twitter by Washington State Trooper Johnna Batiste.
Trooper Johnna tweeted, ¡®A single prop KR2 plane is safely on the ground after having to make an emergency landing on SR7/138th at 8:15a this morning due to a fuel system malfunction. No injuries to anyone involved. Troopers helped push the plane clear the roadway. #WhenYouThinkYouveSeenItAll.¡¯
¡®While on patrol in east Pierce county, Trooper Thompson just happened to be in the right place at the right time and witnessed the plane made an emergency landing. WSP had no prior knowledge of the pilot¡¯s complications. After 21 years with the patrol, this is a first for him,¡¯ she added.
The video was recorded on trooper Clint Thompson¡¯s dashcam, who was on patrol in the east side of the county. According to the trooper, he witnessed the plane making an emergency landing, but he had no prior knowledge that the pilot was having any kind of complications.?
According to reports, Thompson was able to make an emergency u-turn, activate his lights and slow traffic so that the pilot could safely land the plane.
In the video, one can see the pilot, jumping out of the plane and pulling it off to the side of the road with the help of Thompson. After a few seconds in the video, you can also see the plane waiting at the traffic light which is quite funny.?
The trooper also said that no injuries were reported to anyone involved in the incident.?

On March 12, around 11 am, a small plane - Sirrus SR20 - that had one female passenger along with a male pilot, skidded across the highway near Buttonville Airport in Markham, Ontario. Thankfully, nobody on the road was hurt, but the pilot and the passenger on the plane suffered minor injuries.
