A woman from the Philippines whose Schengen visa application was first denied later received the visa after convincing authorities that she would depart the Schengen region to catch Taylor Swift's March concert in Singapore.?
The unidentified woman described the experience on Reddit, saying, "I just wanna share that I got denied in my first attempt. They said they don't anticipate I'll exit the Schengen area before my visa expires. So when I reapplied, I stated that I would be leaving to see Taylor Swift's concert in Singapore and attached the mail confirmation."
She later provided an update in which she stated that?she received an email stating that her visa had been approved in just three business days after mentioning the Taylor Swift performance.?
"On December 21, I filed (the application). The processing days are December 22, 27, and 28. I was summoned to the embassy on January 4th in order to sign a document. I mistook it for a letter of denial. However, it was a letter instructing me to return to the embassy 10 days after my visa expired. Mother Taylor worked her magic!" she exclaimed.?
