3 Indians missing in Iran rescued by cops | Family alleged kidnapping
Three Indian men from Punjab went missing in Iran on May 1 after being allegedly kidnapped. Their families claim they were duped by a travel agent who promised jobs in Australia but sent them illegally via the Dunki route. The kidnappers demanded a ransom of Rs 5 million. After sustained efforts by the Indian Embassy and Iranian authorities, the trio was rescued from Varamin near Tehran. The agent who arranged the travel is currently absconding.
