Beyond this date, individuals will incur a fee of Rs 50 for updating their proof of identity and address documentation. The UIDAI encourages citizens whose Aadhaar cards were issued over 10 years ago and have not been updated to submit proof of identity and address documents to enhance service provision and authentication success.

First Installment Deadline for Advance Tax
June 15 marks the due date for the first installment of advance tax. Taxpayers become liable for advance tax when their tax liability in a fiscal year exceeds ?10,000. This includes all types of income, such as capital gains and lottery winnings. However, senior citizens without business income are exempt from paying advance tax, according to Business Standard.
Special Fixed Deposit Offers
Several banks are currently offering special rates on fixed deposits (FDs). IDBI Bank provides rates of 7.05% for Utsav FDs maturing in 300 days for general citizens and 7.55% for senior citizens.
