Not a year, month or week. All it took was less than 24 hours for a Japanese company to build a 3d printed house.
Japan¡¯s Serendix Partners had already caught people¡¯s eyes last year with its concept for spherical, 3D-printed houses last year, with their stylish, futuristic appeal, coupled with affordable price.?The 3D printed house's low price is enough to make it comparable to that of a budget-friendly new car, as per JapanToday.
And that¡¯s not all. The Japanese company recently achieved its goal of building a 3D-printed house in less than 24 hours!
The construction took place at the factory of Hyakunen Jutaku, a residential architecture and construction company in the city of Komaki, Aichi Prefecture, according to a report in JapanToday.?
And with the help of its domestic and overseas partners, Serendix was able to print a 20-metric ton reinforced concrete frame for the house, with the assembly of the pieces taking just 3 hours.?
The Japanese company Serendix is calling the 3D-printed house ¡®Sphere¡¯, and hopes to offer the 10-square meter structures at a price of 3 million yen (close to $25,350 or ?19,33,035).
From start to finish, all it took was just 23 hours and 12 minutes to build the 3D house, which, according to the Japanese company, meets Japanese earthquake and European insulation standards too.

The company Serendix didn¡¯t show or mention anything about how the interior of the house it put together in under 24 hours was equipped, as per JapanToday.?
But the company says that a considerable amount of the total construction time was spent applying paint to the house¡¯s exterior and that advancements and/or increased automation for that step, along with fine-tuning of the entire process, could make the total production time even shorter!
