Sam Altman has been recognised as Time magazine's 'CEO of the Year' 2023 for his remarkable impact on the tech industry.?
The announcement was made on December 6 (Wednesday). The award underscores Sam Altman's significant contributions as the CEO of OpenAI, a prominent research company specializing in artificial intelligence, especially in the last year since it launched ChatGPT.

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman marked ¡®10-out-of-10 crazy thing to live through¡¯ when he had to spend a rather strange Thanksgiving- losing a company he co-founded, only to be reinstated after five frantic days, as per what he told TIME.
Sam Altman co-founded OpenAI developed ChatGPT, a revolutionary tool, launched in November 2022. Altman had told TIME magazine, "For many people 2023 was ¡°the year that they started taking AI seriously."
"Building superintelligence is going to be a society-wide project," Altman said. "We would like to be one of the shapers, but it¡¯s not going to be something that one company just does. It will be far bigger than any one company."
Altman, who had recently wrestled control of the company he founded back from a runaway board, has returned to the forefront of artificial intelligence development.
