YouTube New Shopping Feature:?Last year, YouTube reported that users watched over 30 billion hours of shopping-related videos on the platform, with a 25 per cent increase in watch time for videos assisting viewers with their shopping needs.
In response to this growing trend, YouTube has unveiled several new Shopping features, including Shopping Collections, Affiliate Hub, and more.
Shopping Collections offers creators a fresh method to curate products from their preferred brands or their own product lines.
These collections will be visible in a creator's product list, Store tab, and video descriptions. Initially, creators can create collections using the Studio app on their mobile devices, with desktop functionality arriving soon.

YouTube aims to assist creators in establishing their own virtual stores on the platform, allowing users to easily shop for their favorite products and potentially increase creators' earnings.
YouTube has introduced a dedicated Affiliate Hub within the YouTube app. This hub enables boost content creators earning also helps to access the latest list of Shopping partners, explore competitive commission rates, access promo codes, and even request samples from leading brands.
The Affiliate Hub streamlines the process for Shopping creators to find essential information for planning their next shoppable video.
Following last year's launch of bulk product tagging for affiliate shopping creators, YouTube is now extending this feature to all Shopping creators. This allows them to tag their own products and merchandise across their entire video library.
This feature presents an opportunity for creators to generate additional or boost money from older content that continues to receive significant traffic.
