BS6 Royal Enfield Classic 350 With Fuel Injection Launched; Promises Better Performance
BS6 compliant version of the Classic 350 has been launched by the bike maker at a price of Rs 165 lakh ex-showroom. That is a bump of Rs 11000 from the outgoing model. The new Classic 350 will also get two new colour options - Stealth Black and Chrome Black in addition to the existing ones.
Royal Enfield has updated one of its most loved motorcycles in India. A BS6 compliant version of the Classic 350 has been launched by the bike maker at a price of Rs 1.65 lakh (ex-showroom). That is a bump of Rs 11,000 from the outgoing model.
In line with India¡¯s upcoming BS6 emission norms, the new Classic 350 will also get two new colour options - Stealth Black and Chrome Black, in addition to the existing ones. Interestingly, these two colour models will also sport alloy wheels as well as tubeless tyres as standard.
As for the upgrade to the engine, the BS6 compliant Classic 350 will feature a fuel-injection system in place of the carburettor on the BS6 model. The company says that the new fuel injection system will help refine the performance and drive experience of the Classic 350. It would even improve upon the ignition systems performance in cold temperatures.
Royal Enfield has not yet announced the performance figures for the BS6 Classic 350 but it did say that the new model will deliver a better power and torque. So we can expect these to be north of 19.8 hp and 28 Nm claimed on the outgoing model.
The company has started taking bookings for the new Classic 350 at an amount of Rs 10,000. In addition, Royal Enfield has also announced an after sales service initiative that promises a three-year warranty and three years of roadside assistance to those opting for it.
