Cybertruck: Didn't Want To Wait, Tesla Fan Builds His Own Version Of Cybertruck From Ford F150
Tesla had unveiled its Cybertruck way back in November last year. With its availability still not due until next year a fan of the all electric pickup truck just could not wait that long and hence decided to come up with his own version. Tesla had unveiled its Cybertruck way back in November last year. With its availability still not due until next year, a fan of the all electric pickup truck just could not wait that long and hence, decided to come up with his own version of the Cybertruck.
The personalised form of the Cybertruck has one major distinction from the original one. While Tesla¡¯s Cybertruck is meant to be an environment-friendly vehicle, the one built by the fan runs on petrol.
So we can assume that it was the design of the Cybertruck that Igor Krezic, the supposed fan of the pickup truck, was going after. Once decided, Krezic put the IT specialists and engineers in his company Stark Solutions to the task of replicating the Tesla EV.
A report by Reuters highlights that it took the task force around eight months to come up with the vehicle. The team did not produce it from scratch but instead, made it from the parts of a disassembled Ford Raptor F-150.
The F-150 was disassembled into its smallest parts and then transformed into the petrol-powered vehicle resembling a Cybertruck. As can be judged, the resulting vehicle was quite a visual treat on the roads of Bosnia.
The first drive through the streets of the southern town of Mostar drew a lot of attention, Mario Coric, the company manager, told Reuters.
¡°Everybody was watching and half of them thought we made a tank, because people don¡¯t know what the Cybertruck is. One girl even stopped and asked if this is the place where they are producing Tesla Cybertruck,¡± Coric said.
A Ford, Tesla cross
Being a fan of both the carmakers, the owner of the vehicle wanted to combine the two. The Cybertruck replica is a result of that.
Coric explains, ¡°The owner wanted us to combine two opposite sides ¡ª Ford and Cyber ¡ª because he is a fan of both Tesla and Ford, so we merged two souls into one.¡±
¡°This one uses gasoline and Tesla uses electricity. We tried to copy as much as possible but our car is not the same size as the Cybertruck,¡± he added.
As per Coric, the company is now trying to register the pickup truck so that it can be driven on the roads. There is, however, a problem as sharp vehicle edges like the ones on the Cybertruck are banned in Bosnia.
