Even more impressive is the fact that the lithium-ion battery used in the motorcycle passed its certification test in a single go. As per the company executives, all this was made possible by the company¡¯s internal stringent tests. For instance, the firm claims that the battery was put through tests performance, nail penetration, shock, cycle life, all-weather and waterproofing tests.
Rahul Sharma, Founder ¨C Revolt Intellicorp Pvt. Ltd., puts stress on the internal tests ¡°We invested a lot of time testing it internally to make sure we have a winner before sending it to the ARAI. The speedy ARAI certification is a huge endorsement to our efforts over the last 2 years.¡±
Electric vehicles are taking the centre stage in India¡¯s automotive scenario, thanks to their emission free and comparatively more efficient working. Rahul Sharma has made a smart move to enter the still growing EV industry in the country, which will only find a rapidly growing market, at least for the foreseeable future. What¡¯s more, being a budget conscious market, India¡¯s shift to EVs is being propelled by electric two-wheelers more than any other segment. Being a front-runner in such a scenario will certainly help Revolt gain a large chunk of a soon to be huge industry.
